San Jose man died Wednesday after crashing a rented Ferrari

A San Jose resident died on Wednesday after crashing into a tree on Highway 84 near Peninsula Hills. A 46-year-old man lost control of the Ferrari around a bend in the road just west of Skyline Boulevard. According to CHP officer.

The car was a rented Ferrari which rolled down over 100 feet into an embankment then striking a tree. Unfortunately, the man was thrown from the car even while wearing a seat belt. The CHP officers found the body near the car.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending a notification of relatives and family. Apparently, this man has been driving several expensive cars. The cause of the car crash is still under investigations, while no signs of alcohol or drugs are evident, the California Highway Patrol officer said.
