Four Injured In Single-Vehicle Crash on Freeway in Hawthorne

January 8th, 2023

At least four people were rushed to hospitals from a single-vehicle crash Sunday on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Hawthorne, authorities said.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 3:57 a.m. to the northbound freeway, at West El Segundo Boulevard, a county fire department dispatcher said.

The conditions of the injured were not immediately known.

At least one person was trapped in a vehicle and in pain, the California Highway Patrol said.

There was no other information available.
