Clovis man killed in multi-vehicle crash in Kings County

October 10th, 2021

KINGS COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A 55-year-old Clovis man was killed in a crash in Kings County on Saturday afternoon.

The crash involved three vehicles and happened on Highway 41 and Grangeville at 3 pm.

California Highway Patrol officers say the driver of a Chevy Silverado hit the victim's Nissan from behind. The Nissan then hit the Ford in front.

The driver of the Nissan died of his injuries.

CHP officers say they do not yet know what caused the collision, but that alcohol or drugs may have played a role.

Truck Collision Killed a cyclist

Police were called to Octavia and Oak streets in Hayes Valley about 4 a.m. and found a male cyclist suffering from injuries. Crews tried to save him, but he died at the scene of the crash.

Semi-Truck and Bus Collision Injured Three

According to El Segundo Fire Chief Deena Lee, the semi-truck was parked on the side of the road near Imperial Highway and Douglas Street as the driver was off-loading a scissor lift when it was hit by an LADOT bus.

Officers say someone in a Saturn sideswiped a Dodge Caliber, and the Dodge spun out of control before eventually stopping.

Hit-and-Run Killed One

The woman, 36-year-old Shantel Hamilton of Merced, was riding her scooter near the intersection of 26th and G streets.

4-car Crash Killed 2

June 21st, 2022

Officers say three cars were going south on the highway when the semi-truck veered over and hit them. It is not known why the truck veered over at this time.

Double collision injured four

August 6th, 2022

The crash was reported at 4:29 p.m. at 55th Street East and Palmdale Boulevard, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Bernard Peters. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, Peters said.

Multi Vehicles Crash Injured three

AUGUST 6th, 2022

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 12:44 a.m. to the 10700 block of Beverly Boulevard, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher, who added that at least one of the three was critically injured.

The crash was reported shortly before 11 a.m. in the 1700 block of South Walgrove Avenue, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The collision took place about 9:10 a.m. on East Lane Avenue, just west of South Chestnut Avenue, according to police spokesman Felipe Uribe.

Head-On Collision Killed Three

August 8th, 2022

The California Highway Patrol says a 34-year-old man from Merced was driving a Jeep westbound and for an unknown reason, went into the eastbound lanes.

Bus Crash Injured 21 people

August 3rd, 2022

At this point, it's not known why the bus veered off the road. Officers say the bus was on its way to Fresno from Bakersfield when it crashed.

Train Accident Injured 3, Killed 5

June 27th, 2022

The collision occurred at approximately 1:00 p.m. when a vehicle collided with an Amtrak Train. Three people were pronounced dead at the scene, according to ECCFD.

Delivery Truck Accident Injured Three

The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday near Harney Lane, just east of Lower Sacramento Road, the Lodi Fire Department said on social media.
