One Person Injured in Three-Vehicle Collision in Hollywood

October 31st, 2023

A 32-year-old man was injured in a three-vehicle collision in Hollywood Tuesday evening where the front end of a pickup truck went into a pizza restaurant.

Firefighters responded to the 1600 block of North La Brea Avenue near Hollywood Boulevard shortly after 9:25 p.m. to a report regarding a three-vehicle traffic collision, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.

The injured man was taken to a hospital in unknown condition. Stewart said. LAFD Urban Search and Rescue personnel were investigating and stabilizing the building as required.

The Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety personnel also evaluated the building’s condition to determine if it could still be occupied, Stewart said.
