Man Hospitalized from Hit-and-Run Crash in Long Beach

August 7th, 2023

A man was hospitalized Monday after he was struck by a vehicle in Long Beach and the driver didn’t stop, authorities said Monday.

The crash occurred about 10:30 p.m. Sunday in the area of Broadway and Hermosa Avenue, said Long Beach police Lt. Gerrit DeJongh.

Paramedics took the injured man to a hospital where he had stable vital signs, DeJongh said.

A description of the vehicle was not available. The crash was under investigation, he said.
