Pedestrian Killed by Vehicle in Panorama City

December 5th, 2023

A 40-year-old pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Panorama City, authorities said Tuesday.

The collision occurred at 10:30 p.m. Monday near West Osborne Street and North Van Nuys Boulevard.

Upon their arrival, Los Angeles Police Department officers learned the vehicle was traveling north on Van Nuys when it struck the pedestrian, who was standing in the street, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.

The pedestrian, whose name, gender and age were not immediately known, was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel.

The motorist remained at the scene after the collision.
