One Dead in Three-Vehicle Crash in Santa Clarita

One person was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Santa Clarita, authorities said Monday.

The crash was reported at 11:38 p.m. Sunday on San Francisquito Canyon Road at Runner Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

One of the vehicles was a motorcycle, Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Michael Pittman told City News Service.

A man believed about 25 years old was pronounced dead at the scene, said CHP Officer Sean Lough.

San Francisquito Canyon Road was closed in both directions around the crash site for the investigation.
