Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision on Pearblossom Highway

A man was killed in a two-vehicle collision on the Pearblossom Highway (state Route 138) Tuesday in the Antelope Valley near Llano.

The crash was reported at 1:07 a.m. and officers from the California Highway Patrol were called to the highway and 185th Street East, where they found the victim trapped in one of the vehicles and debris strewn across the roadway, CHP Officer Sean Lough told City News Service.

One vehicle flipped on its side and another vehicle, a sedan, was found off the highway in the bushes.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics.
