Laura Goolsby

Laura Goolsby is a dedicated and results-driven attorney with a passion for advocating for her clients. Currently the Senior Litigation Associate for Drake Law Group’s Lemon Daddy lemon law practice, Laura has extensive experience successfully litigating, trying, and settling lemon law cases on behalf of consumers in both state and federal court. Laura provides strategic legal counsel tailored to each client's unique needs and is known for her meticulous attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, and commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes.

Before joining Drake Law Group, Laura worked alongside Managing Partner Tarek Zohdy at Capstone Law, where, as part of the consumer team, Laura contributed to reaching multiple multimillion-dollar settlements on behalf of nationwide consumer classes. Prior to Capstone, Laura spent several years honing her lemon law advocacy and civil litigation skills at California civil litigation firms. Laura earned her law degree from California Western School of Law, where she was a member of the award-winning Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court team, achieved the highest grade in multiple classes, and published in University of Pennsylvania’s Journal of Law & Social Change, among other accomplishments. 

Outside the office, Laura is actively involved in her local community and enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two children, most often attending concerts, playing various musical instruments, and soaking up the SoCal sun at their local beaches whenever possible.
