Tarek Zohdy

Tarek Zohdy is currently the managing attorney of Drake Law Group’s consumer protection department, including the viral Lemon Daddy practice. At Drake Law Group, Tarek manages a team focused on California consumer protection, including for breaches of express and implied warranties pursuant to the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, commonly referred to together as “Lemon Law,” consumer fraud and consumer class action. Prior to joining Drake Law Group, Tarek was senior counsel with Capstone, where he developed, investigated and litigated automotive defect class actions, along with other consumer class actions for breach of warranty and consumer fraud.  At Capstone, he worked on several large-scale automotive class actions from investigation through settlements that have provided significant relief to millions of defrauded car owners. Before joining Capstone, Tarek spent several years representing individual consumers in their Lemon Law actions against automobile manufacturers and dealerships, similar to his current practice at Drake Law Group. In his almost twenty year career, Tarek has successfully recouped in excess of one billion dollars ($1,000,000,000.00) in consumer awards from automobile manufacturers, and other consumer product sellers. Tarek graduated from Louisiana State University magna cum laude in 2003, and Boston University School of Law in 2006, where he was a member of the criminal clinic representing underprivileged criminal defendants. He joined the California bar in 2006, and is admitted to the Eastern District of California, Southern District of California, Northern District of California, Central District of California, and the Eastern District of Michigan federal courts.
